HOME AND GARDEN SHOWPLACE
Home and Garden Showplace, the garden center business of True Value, wanted to rebrand to attract a more affluent consumer. I redesigned their logo in a dark green serif font, punctuated with a light green leaf to give it a more elegant, high quality presentation and feel.
LAWSON PRODUCTS
I designed the logotype incorporating the established brand mark. A standardized identity system was implemented to create consistency and a more contemporary and professional presentation.
Being especially skillful with Photoshop, I was able to utilize a series of Chicago cityscapes while cleverly combining them with True Value products distributed throughout. These images were used to promote an upcoming conference in Chicago.
LAWSON PRODUCTS SALES COLLATERAL
The objective was to create a system that would consolidate many product sales tools. The result was a modular and expandable communication system for the agent sales force.
STEELMAX BROCHURE
Combining sleek industrial patterns with the blue commonly used in their product as a backdrop, an appealing visual continuity is created.
EASYCARE WOODSMAN STAINS
I conceptualized and designed the entire line of Woodsman stains and wood care products.
EASYCARE 365
I submitted concepts for True Value's new EasyCare 365 paint along with an outside agency. My design was selected to represent the brand. The design represents "making your design ideas a reality" by moving from a line drawing to a photo.
HOME & GARDEN SHOWPLACE PROSPECTING BOX
I worked on the concept, design and photography for this piece. The purpose of the project was to develop an eye catching theme in order to prospect new Home and Garden Showplace stores. The piece was designed to mimic a flower box, which opens to reveal flowers “growing” inside. It is the Silver winner of the 2012 Gold Ink Awards.

In conjunction with the movie "Trolls", True Value partnered with Dreamworks to create a line of Trolls paint colors. I designed a wide variety of in store signage and social media graphics including a series of free standing character cut outs that customers could use in selfies.

True Value’s creative team needed a logo to represent their new agency approach. Each member of the team had input on the name and design of the logo. Team members voted and my True logo was selected to represent the agency.

"Keep your home up and running" On one side you see the exterior of the house. On the other a couple is painting their livingroom while their wind blown dog enjoys the ride. It's a concept designed to draw attention on social media. Have you see this truck?

Active hands thematically placed throughout the piece, depicts the theme of “I Can . . . Celebrate Life”.
MARCH OF DIMES INVITE
PATIO & POTTERY TREND CATALOG
This was a B2B piece that was created to teach retailers about current trends before attending a Patio and Pottery purchasing event. It gave them suggestions on what their customers might be looking for and how to set up their store. The square booklet format mimics the swatches of color and textures throughout the book. True Value EasyCare Paint swatches were included.
LAWSON CATALOG COVERS
For this project I was asked to design catalog covers without using text or any specific reference to the brand names within. Because the product was being used solely as a design element and not for display, I was able to work freely with color, texture, and the shape of the product to create the design.
